Emma A. Benkert

Emma Benkert began working at Piedmont Law Group in 2010, while she was a law student at Emory University. She continued at the firm after graduation and became a partner in 2018.

Emma's practice focuses on commercial real estate and title insurance underwriting on large, complex commercial transactions. Her experience includes underwriting retail shopping centers, mixed use developments, multi-family housing, office towers, assemblages, and large residential developments.

In her practice, Emma also represents sellers and purchasers from contract negotiation through to the closing of a transaction. She also provides representation to landlord and tenants in the initial lease negotiations and throughout the lease term.

When she's not working, Emma is busy at home in Roswell, Georgia with her husband, young son, and spirited dog.
